Adding Cameras:

Simply go to the camera tab and click search. The software will display each of the HOMEView cameras connected to your system. Select each camera individually and enter the username and password. HOMEView offers true plug and play compatibility.

Scheduling:

With independent and easily configured recording schedules for each camera connected to the software, the HOMEView system provides flexibility to record only when you need it. You can choose from several default schedules or create your own custom schedule for each camera. You can easily choose to record the video from the front door camera 24 hours a day and the video from the garage only when there is motion.

Advanced Motion Detection:

Video motion detection allows you to only record when the camera sees motion. This advanced feature ensures that you don’t fill up your hard drive with hours of video from an empty room or hallway. Because the video is stored in your computers random access memory (RAM), the system can actually begin to record to your hard drive up to 10 seconds before the motion actually occurred. That way your HOMEView system does not miss a thing.

Configurable Storage:

The HOMEView system provides a flexible storage system that allows you to define the location and the size of the video storage folder. Once you have defined theses settings, the HOMEView system will automatically recycle the old video clips and re-write the new video clips to save storage space.

Playback:

With HOMEView's powerful recording software, you can watch recorded video, search recorded video, and adjust the image quality of the stored video, save videos to CD’s or DVDs, print images and check logs and event records. Use the scroll bar to drag the video to a point that you want to review or simply plug in the date and time to go directly to the recorded video. Control the playback speed and use the play pause and stop buttons to cue the video in or out. You even have the ability to digitally zoom in on the recorded images to get a close up view.

You can enhance the recorded video by adjusting the clarity, sharpness, brightness, contrast and grey scale to achieve the best quality playback.

When you want to save a recorded video clip, it is as simple as pausing the recording and clicking the queue in button then forwarding the video to the end of the clip that you want saved and clicking the queue out button. Then click on SAVE to export the video to the file of your choice.

Screen Division:

You can view any camera full screen or sub-divide the screen into 4 screens to view multiple cameras. Double click on any sub screen to display the camera in full screen and simply double click again to return to the 4 camera display.

Remote Viewing:

The HOMEView system can be configured to allow remote viewing and playback of your security camera system from anywhere in the world. All that is required is a high speed internet connection and a static IP address. If a static IP address is not available, HOMEView offers a subscription service that still allows you to access your system remotely.
